A beautiful frame drum, that's the RTB14BLK Bodhran Neotrad Black Brown. This may be Slagwerk's first bodhran, but there need be no doubt about the quality. Indeed, bodhran experts have been hired to create a bodhran as we have come to expect. This frame drum features a Fiberskyn3 batter. The result, a warm earthy sound that the bodhran is known for. For the frame, 5-ply beechwood has been used with a 14-inch diameter. The special material again has a positive influence on the weight. Very convenient is the fact that changing the drumhead and tuning is done without using any tools. This frame drum comes in black and includes a tipper so there is a choice of playing by hand or with the special stick.
