The snapping snare effect produced from the Meinl Artisan Edition Seguiriya Line Cajon is due to the two sets of eight micro-coiled metal cajon strings which can be adjusted with the included tuning key. These strings are hand wound in the style of master Cajon builder Jose "Pepote" Hernandez Diaz and respond with the utmost sensitivity. These adjustable strings and an extra thick wooden sound port ring for bass compression gives the Meinl Artisan Edition Sequiriya Line Cajon a wide dynamic range of highs and lows.
