The Pearl Sambajon cajon is made of lightweight fibreglass and has a wooden playing surface and a fabric-covered side for an ultra-low bass tone that sounds like a Brazilian Surdo. The fabric-covered side can also be played with a pedal. When you hit the playing surface, the wire snares on the inside produce a sharp, crispy sound, giving you a range of tones and sounds to play with. Lastly, the entire instrument has a classy black finish.
