The overdrive of Citadel's Particle Drive immediately reminds you of a modern British high-gain amp, and that is, of course, extactly the intention. This effect pedal offers a wide tonal range, going from mild overdrive to saturated high-gain distortion. Integrated is adaptive noise gate technology that lets you set a threshold that allows signals above to pass through and signals below to be attenuated or reduced. Thanks to the true bypass relay system, you can decide whether to enable or bypass this overdrive. There are rotary knobs for level, gate, tone and drive and a switch that lets you adjust midrange voicing.
