This edition has not only been trimmed right down, but loaded with a helpful noise-gate that ensures hum-free performance and complete, clean silence between chords and notes. The gate intensity is tweaked to taste via a simple, single pot, and besides the standard-issue controls for the distortion and effect level, this wee pedal provides a set of three EQ controls for the treble, mid, and bass. Each pot delivers its own custom boost or cut level, unleashing a surprisingly flexible range of thick and beefy, shred-worthy tone.
