Their compact size means they can barely be seen by the audience. You attach them to the rim of your toms with the supplied DVICE clamps so you don't need tripods for the drum mics either. The included i5 snare drum microphone has a recognisable American sound with a nice balance between 'punch' and 'bite'. The included D6 bass drum microphone also sounds good right away. Hang the two ADX51 small-diaphragm condenser microphones above your drum kit and you'll have a crispy overall sound from your drum kit that makes the all mics sound great.
