It builds on the original designs of the late 50s and early 60s bringing the playability and personality that made the Special a favourite among gigging players.

Its mahogany double-cut body gives you full access right up the neck while the SlimTaper 60s profile makes fast runs and chord work feel natural. The bound rosewood fingerboard and acrylic dot inlays provide a smooth vintage-style playing surface across all 22 medium-jumbo frets. Instead of P-90s this model comes equipped with a ProBucker 2 in the neck and a hotter ProBucker 3 in the bridge offering warm cleans thick mids and powerful overdrive.
