The controls are also incredibly accessible and smooth with clear and dedicated buttons for primary functions like record, play, pause and skip fitted to the face of the recorder while the 1.8 inch TFT colour display offers a streamlined menu and file structure. The top mounted stereo microphone records with great audio response and detailed quality but, if you'd rather use an external microphone and it has a stereo mini-jack plug, it can be hooked up with ease and, whatever mic you're using, a number of defined EQ-curves can be selected including Rock, Funk, Hiphop and Jazz.
