The Vandoren reed trimmer is a specially designed tool for trimming and refining your Vandoren reeds. The mechanism is designed to be as simple as possible and super precise too thanks to using the same blade that Vandoren use to cut the reeds in their factory. Two knobs are used to position the reed properly in the device and the large trimmer blade is twisted to shave off small amounts from the damaged edge of your reed. This revitalises the reed and can obtain more use out of the reed before you need to start a new one.
