JHS Pedals 3 Series Oil Can Delay Effect Pedal

In 2022, Wilco guitarist Nels Cline asked Josh Scott of JHS Pedals for an oil can delay pedal. JHS had none to offer, so Josh and his team built a custom stompbox that turned out to be so good that Nels wanted to give it a permanent spot on his pedalboard. That very pedal is what inspired the JHS 3 Series Oil Can Delay.The 3 Series Oil Can Delay: Classic Dark Delay FlavoursThe JHS 3 Series Oil Can Delay packs the same dark oil can-style delay sound as the original, Raymond Lubow-developed effect, which is basically a magnetic disk that spins inside a can of special oil that helps keep special rubber heads lubricated and prevents the leakage of the magnetically stored data. Here, you get a set of Tape Speed, Mix and Feedback knobs, plus a Mod +/- mini-switch for varying the sound.
