The Meinl Samba 12 Traditional Aluminium Caixa is a staple piece with any Samba band - now with an extra deep body for fuller tone. Aluminium shell delivers the cutting tone needed when playing rimshots with the snare drum style snare throw off and wires (made from guitar strings) produce that classic sound. The rims are secured with six countersunk bolt tuning lugs. The hardware is chrome plated to finish the great look. Includes tuning key.
