ProMark SM5 SPYR Hard Marimba Mallets

Officially, Promark's SPYR mallets are made for marimba, but there's no one who will say you can't also use them on vibraphone. The SM5 model has a 1.25-inch hard head, wound with grey yarn. The mallets have a length of 16.75 inches. Some mallets are made for a specific sound or register of the instrument. This is also the case with the SPYR mallets. These hard mallets are particularly suitable between F3 and C7, i.e. mainly the middle to high register.
