Yamaha MKAS7 Keiko Abe Marimba Mallet

What is special about this stick is that it is a Signature Series for which a collaboration has been established with Keiko Abe. Known for her exceptional performances with the marimba. This mallet is designed in such a way to get the best out of you in terms of technique and the marimba as an instrument itself. The top of the MKAS7 is wrapped with yarn and compared to standard mallets, it weighs slightly heavier. The latter is deliberately done to create a refined expression. The mallet itself has a length of 425 mm and is made of rattan wood. The material was carefully chosen to achieve a perfect ratio between weight and thickness of the stick.
