With the Audix VX5 you're equipped with a professional condenser vocal microphone with a sleek, supercardioid directional characteristic that filters out unwanted ambient noise. While initially designed as a vocal microphone, the Audix VX5 can also record instruments such as acoustic guitars, woodwind, brass, percussion, drums, cymbals and pianos. Thanks to an integrated pop filter, -10 dB pad and bass roll or filter, you're always guaranteed the best possible recording clarity and quality and the maximum SPL of 140 dB means that distortion at higher volumes is kept to an absolute minimum. Note: The VX5 requires 48-52V of phantom power.
