The Audix D2 Trio bundles three dynamic instrument microphones up in one pack, kitting you out with professional sound whether you're miking up percussion, string instruments or even wind instruments. The Audix D2 microphone is incredibly lightweight and easily positioned to ensure full and focussed sonic capture while the broad frequency response supports punchy basses and is able to handle a hefty sound pressure level of up to 144 decibels. The microphone body has also been built to last, where the milled aluminium housing has been given a black anodised finish and the capsule is fully protected by a shock-resistant steel mesh grille. Each microphone also comes fitted with a gold-plated XLR port to guarantee the best signal quality possible.
