The Eventide PowerMini EXP is identical to the 'regular' PowerMini, but instead of the power adapter it has a link cable that you need to connect to the PowerMax multi-power supply. This allows you to power a maximum of 12 pedals. If you only want to power a maximum of four pedals, you should opt for the PowerMini and thus not the PowerMini EXP. The 'EXP' extension stands for 'expander'.
