This Neumann MCM 114 Miniature Clip Mic System is designed for close-miking a double bass - for either live performance or studio recording. The KK 14 condenser capsule has ultra-consistent sensitivity and tonality making it ideal for capturing a clear and natural sound from any double bass. Plus it can capture high SPLs up to 153dB so you will feel that theres no limit to what it can take.
The included mount clips onto a double basss strings making it easy to attach the microphones gooseneck and get the perfect miking position. Theres a 3.5mm jack included but the cable is interchangeable for three different types. In fact the whole system is modular so you are able to buy and change out different components with ease - such as the mount type itself.
